General Returns

Most non-perishable products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery for a refund or replacement of the same item. We’ll happily process returns due to:

Perishable Returns

Alcohol Returns

In accordance with local and state regulations, Marianos cannot accept returns or exchanges on alcohol products. All alcohol sales are final.

We apologize for any inconvenience. As a licensed alcohol retailer, we must comply with laws prohibiting returns of alcohol.

If your alcohol order arrives damaged, incorrect, or otherwise unsatisfactory, please contact us right away. We will work to make it right to the extent possible while adhering to regulations.

Online Grocery Orders

For online grocery orders, perishable items may be returned for refund or replacement only if defective, damaged, spoiled, or otherwise unsatisfactory. Returns must be initiated within 5 days of delivery.

Purchases you simply regret or change your mind about cannot be returned due to the perishable nature of groceries. Take care to carefully review your online order for accuracy prior to submission.

Follow the online return process to start a return request. For fastest service, return the items to your local Marianos store. Bring the original item, receipt showing proof of purchase, and reason for return.

In-Store Purchases

For returns of items purchased at your local Marianos store, please return directly to that store location. Present your receipt showing proof of purchase date and items.

Returns must be made within 30 days of original purchase. Contact the store directly with any questions about in-store returns.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used. Please allow the following timelines:

For online orders paid in advance, refunds will be applied back to your original payment method. Cash refunds are not available for online orders.

Refunds for gift cards or gift certificates will be issued as a store credit or gift card.

Exchanges

Most eligible items can be directly exchanged for another size, color, or replacement of the same item. To request an exchange:

Marianos reserves the right to deny exchanges without a valid receipt showing proof of purchase. Food items, alcohol, custom orders, and special purchases may not be eligible for exchange.

Return Shipping

To provide fast, convenient service, Marianos provides pre-paid return labels for any defective, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise unsatisfactory items. Use these labels to return items at no cost to you.

For general returns that you change your mind on, you are responsible for covering the shipping costs to return those items to us. Make sure you use a trackable shipping service in case the return is lost in transit. We cannot refund items we never receive.

Exchanges for online orders will have a new pre-paid shipping label provided to send replacements. You may need to cover additional costs if selecting a more expensive replacement item.

Damaged or Defective Items

Please inspect all items immediately upon delivery. In case of any damage or defects:

Lost or Missing Items

Excessive returns make restocking and resale very difficult. Marianos reserves the right to deny returns deemed excessive or abusive. We track return frequency and may terminate return privileges for abuse.

Some items may be subject to restocking fees if the return is for reasons outside seller control. Fees up to 25% may apply based on return reasons and costs to resell.

Gifts and Gift Cards

Gifts are non-returnable and non-refundable unless deemed damaged or defective. Contact the gift purchaser and provide them the return details. The original purchaser must initiate the return for gifts.

Gift cards and gift certificates are redeemable for merchandise or services only. No cash value can be obtained unless required by law. Lost or expired gift cards cannot be replaced or refunded.

Special Order Items

Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items may be non-returnable due to the inability to resell once produced. Review return policies carefully before placing special orders. Contact us regarding any special order return questions.
