Delivery Areas

Marianos offers shipping to all 50 U.S. states. We do not currently ship to P.O. boxes or military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO).

Shipping Methods

Marianos provides various shipping methods depending on your location and delivery needs:

Ground: Economical shipping within the continental U.S. Delivery in 3-7 business days after processing. No weekend or holiday delivery.

2nd Day Air: Faster shipping within the continental U.S. Delivery in 2 business days after processing. Weekend or holiday delivery may require upgraded service.

Next Day Air: Express shipping for time-sensitive orders within the continental U.S. Delivery in 1 business day after processing. Includes weekend and holiday delivery.

Personal Shopper: Local same-day grocery delivery from your neighborhood Marianos store. Available in select areas only. Orders must be placed by 2:00 PM for same-day delivery.

Catering Delivery: Delivery of Marianos Catering orders for events, parties, and celebrations. Available for orders over $69. Includes setup and pickup.

Custom Delivery: Large orders, custom delivery, or delivery to remote regions may necessitate special shipping arrangements. Contact us for a custom quote.

Marianos utilizes reliable shipping partners like UPS, FedEx, and trusted local couriers for deliveries. We will select the best carrier and service according to your delivery needs.

Faster shipping methods and expedited services are available for an additional fee. Certain heavy, oversized, or specialized items may also require custom shipping rates based on dimensions and weight.

Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines depend on your selected shipping method:

Ground: Allow 3-7 business days after your order processes. Does not include weekends or holidays.

2nd Day Air: Allow 2 business days after your order processes. May require upgrade for weekend or rush delivery.

Next Day Air: Allow 1 business day after your order processes. Includes weekend and holiday delivery.

Personal Shopper: Same day if order placed by 2:00 PM. Allow additional time for large orders.

Catering Delivery: Specified delivery window per your catering order and arrangements.

Custom Delivery: As coordinated between you and Marianos. Remote regions may require additional delivery time.

We make every effort to deliver according to the estimates provided. However, delays may occur during periods of high order volume such as holidays. Severe weather, natural disasters, and other unforeseen circumstances may also impact delivery.

Perishable items like meat, seafood, and prepared foods may have expedited delivery to ensure freshness. Contact us if you require a specific delivery date, special handling, or a guaranteed arrival time. Additional charges may apply.

Order Processing

Orders ship within 2 business days after receipt of payment and order confirmation. Processing times exclude weekends and holidays.

During high volume periods, please allow up to 5 additional business days for order processing. Perishable items and catering orders may have expedited processing as needed to preserve freshness and quality.

You will receive a shipment confirmation email with carrier tracking information when your order ships from our facility. Please ensure your email address is correct when ordering.

Shipping Rates and Fees

Shipping Rates: Marianos charges reasonable shipping rates based on your order total, service selected, and delivery destination. Rates will be calculated and shown during checkout.

Fuel Surcharges: Due to carrier fuel costs, a fuel surcharge may apply depending on your selected shipping service. This will be indicated if applicable during checkout.

Additional Fees: Additional fees may be applied for remote deliveries, heavy or oversized items, expedited services, weekends, holidays, redelivery attempts, address corrections, or other specialized shipments. You will be notified of any applicable additional fees during checkout or via your order confirmation.

Custom Shipping: For large orders, custom delivery, or remote regions, please contact us directly for a custom shipping quote. Additional services like lift-gate delivery or inside setup may alter rates if needed.

Sales Tax: Applicable state and local sales tax will be added to your order total at checkout where required by law.

Payment: We accept all major credit cards. Payment must be completed in full before your order will process. Billing address must match the shipping address provided.

Changes: Changes to your shipping speed or address after an order is placed may impact shipping rates, delivery dates, and processing times. Please review all details carefully before ordering. Contact us immediately regarding any required revisions.

Tracking Your Shipment

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with carrier tracking information that allows you to follow your shipment’s status in real time. Tracking may not be available for personal shopper deliveries.

If tracking shows your order will not arrive by the estimated delivery date, please reach out to us immediately so we can assist as needed.

You may monitor delivery progress for issues like:

Delays can occur during inclement weather, natural disasters, and high volume shipping periods. We will communicate any significant delays impacting your delivery.

Signature Required

An adult signature (age 21+ for alcohol) will be required upon delivery for all Marianos orders. Government issued photo ID must be presented to confirm legal drinking age for alcohol purchases.

The signature acts as confirmation that your order arrived as described. Please inspect all items thoroughly before signing acceptance of the delivery.

If no one is available to sign for the delivery, the carrier will attempt to redeliver at a time a signer is present. Failure to obtain a signature after multiple attempts may result in the shipment being returned to our facility. Additional redelivery fees may apply.

You may pre-authorize your delivery to be left unattended at your own discretion. However, Marianos is not liable for orders left without a signature in the event of damage, theft, or other loss. Requiring signature is for your own protection.

Recipient Information

Only the intended recipient listed on the shipping address may take delivery. We cannot release orders to unauthorized third parties.

Government issued photo ID will be required to confirm identity for will-call pickups and alcohol delivery.

Recipient must be 21+ years of age for alcohol purchases. Marianos reserves the right to refuse delivery in the event a recipient appears intoxicated or impaired upon delivery.

For gift deliveries, we recommend providing recipient contact information in case of delivery issues. Recipient should be available to take delivery or authorize any address or scheduling changes.

Inspection and Delivery Issues

Please inspect all items immediately upon delivery before signing for acceptance. Inform the carrier directly of any missing, damaged, substituted or incorrect items. Do not discard any shipping materials until issues are resolved.

Refusal of damaged or incomplete deliveries is recommended to expedite replacement or refund. Accepting delivery as complete represents your acknowledgment that all items arrived in satisfactory condition as described.

If you accept a delivery only to find issues later, please contact Marianos right away providing details and photographs documenting damage or discrepancies. Timely reporting assists greatly in our claims process.

We will work to promptly correct any delivery issues by filing claims, replacing damaged or missing items, refunding incorrect items, or arranging redelivery as needed. However, we cannot guarantee replacement stock will be available.

Return Process

Damaged, defective, incorrect, substituted, or spoiled perishable items may be returned for replacement or refund within 5 days of delivery. Please contact us right away to receive a return label or bring items to your local store.

General returns or exchanges will not be accepted for refrigerated, frozen, or perishable grocery items unless damaged or defective. Products sealed for food safety may not be returnable if opened.

Return shipping costs will be covered for damaged or incorrect items reported timely. Refunds are typically issued within 3-5 business days of return receipt. Replacement orders may be subject to additional shipping charges.

Alcohol Delivery

Per state and local laws, Marianos can only ship and deliver alcohol items to recipients 21+ years of age with valid adult ID.

By placing your order, you affirm you are of legal drinking age in your delivery jurisdiction and intend only for the alcohol to be delivered to an authorized recipient 21+.

Marianos reserves the right to refuse delivery if the recipient appears impaired or fails to provide valid ID proving legal drinking age. Delivery will not be made to any visibly intoxicated persons.

It is a crime to purchase alcohol for minors. Marianos is required to report suspected abuse or violation of alcohol delivery laws. Underage purchase or provision of alcohol is illegal and subject to civil and criminal penalties.

International Shipping

Marianos provides international shipping to over 30 countries worldwide. Import duties, taxes, and customs fees may apply according to your country’s regulations. These additional costs are not included in our shipping rates and will be your responsibility. Please check with your local customs office to determine any additional costs.

Delivery timelines for international orders depend on your location. On average, allow up to 4 weeks for international deliveries, but may take longer in some regions. We are unable to guarantee specific delivery dates for international orders due to variations in customs processing times.

Marianos is not liable for delayed international orders due to import holds, duty payments, or other border inspections. Please provide accurate contact information including phone number so the carrier can reach you if any border documentation is required.

International orders may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Marianos cannot prevent or control this. We will repackage opened orders but are not liable for any damage caused during inspection.

You assume full responsibility for complying with all applicable country regulations regarding permitted ingredients, restricted items, labeling, and more. Not all products we sell may be approved for import to your country.

Large Orders and Custom Shipping

For extra large orders, pallet/crate sizes, custom delivery requests, or remote destinations, special shipping arrangements may be required. Additional services like lift-gate, inside delivery, and installation may involve added fees. Please contact us for a custom quote.

To arrange catering delivery, visit our Catering Menu page and submit the order form. We will contact you directly to coordinate details. Allow additional lead time for catering delivery based on your event size and needs.

You may need to be present to accept and sign for large deliveries. Your recipient contact information and availability is crucial for specialized shipments. Contact us immediately regarding any access difficulties at your location so we can adapt delivery trucks or times if possible.

Additional charges for lift-gate service, residential delivery, limited access locations, installation, etc. will be determined and agreed upon in advance between you and Marianos. Payment must be completed prior to shipping.
